Your first agent, done right
Run npx agentize to have a turnkey agent a persistent memory, task ledger, and architectural rulebook into any repo in 60 seconds. Works instantly with Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenClaw
TLDR: Have your Claude Code or Cursor install npx agentize and enjoy the perfect starter agent with all the insights of Trilogy AI CoE and best memory framework
Two days ago, I published a lightweight npm package called youragent. It hit 1,000 downloads in 48 hours. Now its called
npx agentize
The premise was simple: drop a single command into any repository, and it instantly scaffolds a production-ready agent environment - complete with memory, personality, and a dependency-aware task graph.
Clearly, the pain point is real. People are tired of arguing with blank-slate chatbots and want their agents to start with structure
If you are wondering, I republished it as agentize to convey it’s action driven purpose better
What npx agentize Actually Ships
Run it in any folder. In 60 seconds, it drops a production-ready .agent/ environment. Instead of reading a dense list of 15 markdown files, look at the architecture:
🔴 SOUL & IDENTITY: The operating manual and personality.
🔵 DURABLE MEMORY: Handoffs, scratchpads, and a failure log across sessions.
🟢 TASK LEDGER (BEADS): A dependency-aware graph that requires proof to close.
🟣 130-PATTERN KNOWLEDGE BASE: The Trilogy AI CoE playbook inherited instantly.)
Reliable work requires a scaffold strong enough that the agent can’t fake completion.
Evidence-On-Close
Without constraints, agents are pathological liars rewarded simply for saying “done.” The Bead system flips the incentive.
Every task requires specific evidence. The agent must cite the file changed, the test passed, or the source retrieved. The schema physically rejects completion without proof.
Tool-Agnostic & Autonomous
You don’t change your stack. agentize drops the right hook files (.cursorrules, .windsurfrules, CLAUDE.md) at your repo root.
Once the agent proves it can close beads honestly, flip the switch (--yolo, --yes, --dangerously-skip-permissions). You now have an autonomous teammate bounded by evidence and memory—not just a neat dev tool. Connect it to Google Workspace (GOGCLI_STARTER.md), and it can even run your inbox while you sleep.
Try It Now
Built by the Trilogy AI Center of Excellence. 130 patterns, 14 articles, one command.
npx agentize
Drop it in a repo. Tell your agent to read the North Star. Watch it close work with actual evidence.
Ongoing work
Community contributions are already shaping the roadmap. David Proctor (@dp-pcs) landed the OpenClaw auto-configuration path - the
npx agentize configure-openclaw
command that wires persistent global agents (Junior, Scribe, Atlas) to ingest local .agent/ context automatically, with safe backups and idempotent re-runs.
Next up: deeper OGP (Open Graph Protocol) integration - giving agents a first-class way to surface repo identity, status, and beads metadata to external tools and dashboards.
