[How-To] Automate Influence via Google Chat
[Trilogy exclusive] Remember "TheAlgorithm"? Remember "Braintrust"? Now, see them combined and ready to establish your X.com presence the way you want
Important: this article covers Trilogy-exclusive tools, unavailable to the public
We all have that specific wish: to have a high-volume, high-engagement, and meaningful (not bot-like automated) presence online that requires almost zero friction. We want to be able to create dozens of replies and posts a day, maintaining a constant digital heartbeat without actually being glued to a feed or hiring a massive social team.
We realized we had the two pieces of the puzzle sitting right in front of us.
First, we had Project Braintrust, our internal orchestration platform that allows for long-running, asynchronous agents to live directly in Google Chat. Second, we had “TheAlgorithm”, the content engine we built to automate engagement on X .
Individually, they were effective. Combined, they create a completely new way to work.
The Concept: We took the logic of The Algorithm and deployed it as a hireable expert inside Braintrust . This allows you to “hire” the bot directly within a Google Chat channel .
I’ve attached a video below. The entire workflow is 4-minute long, covering the full workflow - editing included. Can you believe it?
How It Works
Hire the expert
“Hire” from Trilogy hive marketplace here for free
Ask the AI Center of Excellence for the API key
Obtain the TheAlgorithm API key to your account
Input the keys through the easy popup window
Go to Google Chat and voi-la!
And here is the breakdown of the workflow you are seeing in the video:
The Audit via Chat
The workflow begins by tagging the agent in Google Chat . You don’t log into X; you simply ask the agent to scan your feed. It utilizes the “Focus Mode” developed for The Algorithm V2 to prioritize specific accounts - like colleagues or industry leader - ensuring the scan captures the interactions that actually matter .
Contextual Drafting
The agent returns a list of potential replies. This isn’t generic text; it leverages “Mood Toggles” (such as “Dry Wit” or “Helpful”) to match your specific voice . It drafts these responses asynchronously and pings you when the batch is ready for review .
The Review
You can tweak the copy directly in the chat window. If a draft needs adjustment, you reply to the agent with the correction, and it revises the post instantly. The agent remembers your corrections, and always takes proactively proposes way to move forward. Once approved, the agent handles the posting on its own.
Conclusion
Okay, breaking character for a second here.
I don’t know how it is for you, but for me? This actually saves a remarkable amount of time. It takes something that used to be a daily grind and turns it into a one-minute task.
